Love what you love

The kids are back in school and September is right around the corner. Can you believe how fast the year is going? I'm just over here trying to enjoy the last few weeks of summer. How about you? Today is a lighthearted post on a few of the things that make my heart a little happier. 10 things that I love. Not the typical, music, gadget or shoe kind of list. More like simple things that make my life sweeter. Let's get to it.
1. Melted cheese - especially when it's a little burnt and crusty. Oh yum.
2. A warm candlelit bath.- It's so rare that I get to have a bath because I usually take showers. That when I do get to live a little a really do it up in the bathtub. Wine, candles, scented salts, bath bombs, lavender or rosemary oils, and on rare occasions I will add rose petals.
3. I love to sing in the car like a diva, preferably with the windows rolled up because I would never want to impose my powerful voice on the public because I'm a showstopper! heeheehee
4. The Beach- Sand, wind and the water on my feet. I'm a California girl.
5. The color purple- any shade, I just love it.
6. The sound of rain- is so soothing
7. Sleep.
8. Sunrises and sunsets- That's why I love golden hour so much. Even when I'm not shooting. I love the honey-colored glow of the light. The way the light peeks through the trees and warms the sky. Add in some clouds with a hint of purple and pink, it's almost like the sky daring us not to look.
9. Lemonhead candy- since I was a kid
10. Louisiana hot sauce- it is required at all meals. #don'tplay
